Jason is a three-time CrossFit affiliate owner (Albany CrossFit, CrossFit Soulshine and CrossFit Clifton Park) with over 25-years’ experience in health and fitness. He rose through the ranks on the CrossFit seminar circuit to take a position as a Level 4 Trainer on the CrossFit seminar staff; an elite team of coaches who mentor aspiring trainers, CrossFitters and affiliate owners.
Jason graduated with a Masters in Psychology which has served to excel his natural aptitude in the art of coaching. Jason has helped thousands of people lose weight and create a healthier relationship with food. As a former competitive wrestler and bodybuilder, Jason not only knows how to achieve specific lean bodyweight and sports performance related goals, but he understands the psyche and mindset behind the process. Jason’s ability to empathize and connect personally with his clients is attributable to his own experiences and deep understanding of the psychology of nutrition.

Rozlyn has a degree in law and was working as a paralegal when she decided to embrace and pursue her life’s passions. Roz is committed to dispelling dieting industry myths and dismantling the fear they have created about certain types of food. If you can’t enjoy a donut or some ice cream any day of the week then you need to break yourself out of your diet and live life again! Roz’s coaching approach is holistic as she believes that improving your nutrition is not just about improving the quality of the food you eat, but it’s also about rebuilding a healthy relationship with food and a loving respect for your body.
Prior to starting Own Your Eating, Roz was a personal trainer, yoga instructor & Crossfit coach in the Cayman Islands. Roz has been successful in improving the quality of life of people of all ages in aspects of fitness and nutrition.
Roz’s vast experience with dieting as a teenager and adult, ultimately fed her thirst for knowledge on the subject of nutrition. Her CrossFit Level 1 training sparked that interest further and she decided to continue her education with Precision Nutrition (PN). After completing her Level 1 she then enrolled and has subsequently completed the year-long PN Level 2 certification.
Rozlyn not only has a thorough understanding of the scientific aspects of nutrition but she understands the psychology and vast array of complexities we can experience with food. Roz is passionate about sharing her experiences and her knowledge of flexible eating so she can help others feel liberated with their food choices and in control of their health.

Promoting health and fitness has been a cornerstone in Dustin’s life. It has helped form who he is and what he values today. He finds true happiness in helping others see their goals turn into reality.
Dustin grew up with a love for sports and staying active. From being on a competitive traveling basketball team, to football, board sports, triathlons and everything in between. He worked through high school as a fitness instructor at a local gym and taught rock wall climbing.
Naturally, with his competitive and active background, food had always fueled his performance. But it wasn’t until he found CrossFit at the end of 2008 that his interest in nutrition became an area of study for him. He began using his body as its own laboratory in experimenting with different diets. This only highlighted to him the importance nutrition plays in performance, sleep, stress and recovery. Dustin eventually began offering more to his personal training clients by helping them with their nutrition too.
Fast forward to present day; Dustin has owned two successful CrossFit affiliates. He travels the globe with the CrossFit HQ Seminar staff where he has the opportunity to spread the CrossFit training methodologies to aspiring coaches and athletes. Heloves being a part of his members’ journey toward more self-awareness and confidence as a result of training and nutrition.
Dustin is a husband and father to his beautiful family in California. Between balancing family, business, shift work and training, Dustin says it’s an art he is constantly working to improve and refine. Having the opportunity to witness his clients overcome preconceived limitations has helped to keep him motivated in making sure they have the best experience possible while working with him. Magali, known as “Mags”, has a Master’s of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health and is a CrossFit Level 2 trainer. Mags is on a mission to provide as many people as possible with the tools they need to improve their overall health and wellness. Mags is extremely passionate about preventative healthcare versus treatment and is continuing her education in functional and alternative medicine.
Mags believes that chronic disease is reversible and can be treated through things such as diet and lifestyle. For Mags, the optimal health of an individual is a holistic concept where diet, sleep, exercise and stress all play significant roles.
Mags has a deep understanding of how the foods we eat affect the body on a cellular level, however she also understands the importance and reality of food as a source of enjoyment. Her goal is to empower as many individuals as she can to create healthy, sustainable habits and develop a better relationship with food. Mags will help you find a nutrition plan that optimizes your health and performance whilst also preventing disease so that you can truly become the healthiest version of yourself.

With a background in accounting and little athletic accomplishments to speak of growing up, Jen, or “J-Flo” as she’s most commonly known, stumbled into the health and fitness world through CrossFit in early 2009. Over the years, her passion for the sport and the impact of nutrition on her performance and overall health, have had a profound effect in many areas of her life.
As a mother of two (and with a third one on the way!), J-flo is grateful for the peace of mind that flexible eating has given her. J-Flo knows first-hand the struggles of yo-yo dieting, the sense of discomfort in her body and the frustrations of fad diets with little to no success.
Because of her own experiences, she is passionate about helping educate others to find sustainable methods of achieving their health, body, and fitness goals. J-flo believes that although fitness and athletics play an important role in a person’s overall health, nutrition is undoubtedly the foundation upon which health is built.
For J-Flo, the most rewarding aspect of coaching her nutrition clients is helping them to redefine their relationship with food and understand the concept of nutrition as a ‘lifestyle’ rather than a ‘diet’. J-Flo knows just how transformative this can be mentally and emotionally, and how powerful that transformation can be in unlocking a client’s true potential, athletically, aesthetically, and in everyday life.

Keirstein grew up around an active family that was always involved in some kind of sport but Keirstein wasn’t into sports at all. She ate her way through school without weight gain but after graduating, her metabolism finally caught up with her and she found she wasn’t able to eat whatever she wanted anymore! Keirstein went from 120lbs to 150lbs at 5’4, and for the first time ever, found herself having to think about her nutrition. She became unhappy with her appearance and so did what most people do; she started working out in a conventional gym and ate what she thought was “healthy” at the time. Soon enough she was jumping from diet to diet and fad to fad trying to find something that worked. Everything she tried was impossibly strict or left her feeling low energy and sluggish. Finally in 2016 Keirstein started going to CrossFit at North Naples CrossFit and that’s when her life completely changed.
At the time she had no idea what she was doing with school. She was the girl going to college because it was the “right” thing to do. She had no plan and was constantly switching career paths. About a year later Keirstein decided to quit school when she realized that fitness and health were where her passion lay. Keirstein loved what she learnt in the CrossFit community and from her coaches a the box. She learnt how to eat to fuel her body, she performed better and felt amazing and couldn’t believe that all this could be achieved without having to suffer some insane strict diet. Keirstein decided to intern at North Naples CrossFit and also enroll for the Precision Nutrition certification so that she could pursue her passions and help others enjoy the same quality of life she now experiences every day. Keirstein’s own experiences with health and fitness have made her realize how impactful nutrition is in many facets of our lives. Finding flexible eating has provided clarity to her nutrition where it used to be fraught with confusion. Keirstein is excited to help others implement this lifestyle and be the support system they need on their journeys. Look good, feel good and don’t suffer to get there.

Growing up as a wrestler and a soccer player, nutrition and fitness has always been a huge part of Mike’s life. In high school Mike’s parents called him “the food police” for always making sure everyone ate “the right way”! 😂
Once Mike graduated college as a 4-year athlete he became a PE teacher and a varsity wrestling coach. Mike left the teaching scene in 2009 to pursue CrossFit and entrepreneurial endeavors. During that time, Mike opened and managed several CrossFit affiliates, including CrossFit King of the Beach, CrossFit King of Island Park and CrossFit 610. Mike was also the head coach at Crossfit Invictus Boston.
During his time coaching CrossFit, Mike couldn’t resist getting involved in the competitive CrossFit scene. He competed as an Individual at regionals in 2011 and 2012 where he finished 15th and 11th. Then in 2013-2017 Mike qualified and competed at the CrossFit games all 5 years.
Fast forward to present day, and Mike has gone back to his former passion of leading and inspiring kids and young adults in his role as a PE teacher. Mike recognizes the importance of developing nutrition and fitness best practices from early on in life. In his spare time, Mike continues to coach competitive and non-competitive individuals, helping them get the most from their fitness and nutrition! Mike is excited to share his experience and knowledge and support you on your way to becoming your best you!

Laura ran track in high school and tried to stay in shape with various fitness classes and distance running through her early 20’s. In 2015, after moving to a new city, she walked into her first CrossFit box. She quickly realized the way she was eating was not fueling her workouts properly and thus began her love of all things nutrition.
Overtime, Laura has learned that consistency, developing strong habits and learning to love the process are keys to a successful lifelong relationship with food. She understands that nutrition is so much more than the food on your plate. It’s how we connect with family, comfort friends and fuel workouts. It’s at the core of our shared experiences and even more reason to learn to foster a healthy relationship with it and create habits that last a lifetime.
With a background in science, and a constantly growing obsession with all things health & fitness related, Laura is deeply passionate about sharing her nutrition knowledge with clients so that they have a better understanding and enjoyment of the foods they eat. She believes everyone has the power to take control of their nutrition and reach their own highest level of health and she is here to help guide you along that journey.
