This is a great dish for a cool fall day. Throw everything in the slow cooker in the morning and have a delicious and healthy dinner ready in the evening! I love topping it with greek yogurt and chopped green onions. This holds up great for to-go lunches and as leftovers too!Note: this is a relatively mild chili. If you want more of a spicy kick add in a diced jalapeño pepper.
Brown turkey in saucepan with 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Add in diced peppers, onions, garlic, chili powder, cumin, cinnamon, salt and black pepper. Stir to combine and cook until slightly browned.
Add cooked turkey mixture to slow cooker. Add in sweet potato, beans, crushed tomatoes and bone broth. Adding more or less bone broth to bring consistency to your preference.
Let simmer on low for 4-6 hours or until sweet potatoes are fork tender.
