5 tips for Flexible Eating Success
Avril Lavigne said it best, “Why d’you have to go and make things so complicated?” Being successful at anything in this world requires to key components. Simplicity and consistency. Whatever it is you’re trying to achieve, break it down into it’s most simplest components and then repeatedly do those things. With this model, here’s our thoughts on how to achieve flexible eating success.
1. Get Started
It doesn’t matter how much you read, how many videos you watch, who you talk to, at some point you need to get tracking.
2. Stay focused and hit your numbers
Getting started may be the easy part, now you have to do it right. that means consistently hitting your numbers, we recommend within 5 of each macro (protein, carbs, fats, don’t worry about calories).
3. Combat Distractions
Life will come at you, friends, family co-workers, every day you will have a reason to cave, to stop tracking, to go over. we all give in once in a while, but the more often you can fend off these distractions the more successful you will be.
4. Enjoy your Success
Don’t lose sight of how far you have come. we get worked up because others drop weight faster or look better than us, that doesn’t matter, focus on you, and be sure to stop and give yourself a pat on the back every now and again. You are doing better than 99% of the world.
5. Keep that sh*t up!
Why when we are successful do we think it’s ok to stop? Hey, this is working…that’s enough for now! NO! Flexible Eating is a sustainable lifestyle, it’s working, keep doing it!
