Our Coaching Programs

We have three nutrition coaching programs available to cater to your budget and your individual needs. They are our Basic, Essential & Signature Nutrition Lifestyle programs (click links for more details).

All three of our programs provide you with access to our coaching platform where you will be able to submit your check-ins and manage your account. This is also where you’ll upload measurements and pictures to be able to keep track of your progress.

Here’s a quick look at what our software provides:

1. Client Intake Form

When you join Own Your Eating we’ll ask you to complete our detailed Client Intake form. We want to know everything there is to know about you in order to create a plan that you can not only stick to but will yield the results you seek.

2. Check-ins

You will check in with your coach weekly (or bi-weekly) through the software, and in that check in, we ask it all! How you slept, hunger levels, energy levels, how we can best help you, how your training went, and so on.

3. Progress

From your dashboard profile you can see your progress over time. Body weight, measurements and photos are requested every 2 weeks to keep track of your progress.

4. Food Diary Syncing

Our software syncs with MyFitnessPal and Macros+. By using one of these apps to track your food, you can easily sync your food diary each week when you’re submitting your check-in.

5. Fitbit integration

Our software also syncs with your Fitbit and shows us your daily steps and sleep. These are both useful tools for helping us to understand and analyze your progress each week.

6. Habit Tracking

If you’re struggling with certain aspects of your nutrition or just looking to become more consistent with something, habit tracking is a helpful way to make sure you’re implementing those changes.

The Nuts & Bolts

Follow these 4 simple steps to get started with one of our Nutrition Lifestyle programs & start making progress today!

 

STEP 1

Select the level of coaching membership that is best for you; either Basic, Essential or Signature Lifestyle Memberships;

On completion of your purchase, please follow the instructions to fill out your sign-up questionnaire in our exclusive online platform. You can do this later if you’re short on time.

STEP 2

Please wait 24-48 hours from completion of your sign-up questionnaire for your dedicated coach to contact you.

Check out the Resources Tab in our platform and join our private Facebook group!

 

STEP 3

Your coach will provide you with your baseline macro numbers and answer any questions you have about getting started or recommendations you’re curious about. Our coaching platform will provide you with prompts and reminders to log your food and track other healthy habits in line with your goals. Make sure you sync your MyFitnessPal login with our platform so that your diary and daily numbers are clearly visible to your coach and your progress is tracked.

 

STEP 4

Log in daily and complete your progress for a full week. Follow the reminder prompts for when it’s time to check-in with your coach, receive feedback and set goals for the following week.

STEP 2

REVIEW OUR WEBSITE CONTENT AND GUIDES TO GETTING STARTED

Immediately upon purchase you will be taken to our sign-up questionnaire in our coaching platform. Please complete this as soon as you’re able. You will be able to save your progress as you go along.

Follow the instructions for getting started in the Resources Tab, join our private Facebook group and introduce yourself to our Lifestyle community. Your dedicated coach will contact you within 24-48 hours and provide you with recommendations on getting started. There is tons of private content to browse through on in the Resources area of our coaching platform.

 

STEP 3

MEET YOUR COACH & RECEIVE YOUR INITIAL MACRO GOALS

Your coach will contact you via our platform and provide you with your baseline macro goals (for Basic or Essential) based on your client intake information and any other information you have provided. If you are enrolled in our Wellness program then Roz will reach out to schedule an intro call and also provide some initial insights based on your intake questionnaire. This is your chance to ask any questions you might still have about how the program will work and ask for any dietary recommendations. If you’re tracking your macronutrients, you’ll want to make sure you’re set up with a MyFitnessPal account and that it’s connected to your profile in our coaching program. Your coach can walk you through this process.

 

STEP 4

COMPLETE YOUR DAILY HABITS & CHECK-INS & GET FEEDBACK

Whether you purchased BasicEssential or Signature, you will check in with your coach via our platform.  In that check-in, we ask it all! How you slept, what your hunger, energy and stress levels were like throughout the week, how your training went, and so on. Our nutrition platform will also allow us to see your food diary, so we can see how close you were to hitting your macronutrient goals for the week and exactly what you’ve been eating. We analyze all this data and make recommendations based on other factors going on in your life.

From there, we coach! We help you identify weekly wins, what the source was of any setbacks and how to plan for such challenges in the future. Then together we decide how to proceed and what the game plan is for the week ahead. Focusing on key behavioral habits one week at a time for as long as you need, makes even the biggest goals surmountable. Sometimes we might make a macro tweak and sometimes we won’t. We always explain WHY we recommend any changes (to numbers or lifestyle habits) and check that you’re confident in making those changes.

Nutrition coaching isn’t all about science. One of the main reasons our clients are so successful is not because of some magic blanket formula we use, it’s because we take the time to get to know them and understand them as individuals with their own unique needs.
