Transformation – Jade Bowser

It’s an amazing journey that I’m on with Own Your Eating! One that at first I was scared to death of – I literally cried on the phone with Roz ? But, this transformation has been absolutely life changing and worth every fear and frustration I’ve felt along the way.
Here I am, almost one year later. Down 19 pounds & buying clothes I never dreamed I’d see hanging in my closet. I make donuts, cookies, cakes and pastries for a living, and I don’t just make them, I eat this stuff EVERY.SINGLE.DAY! My husband is on this Own Your Eating transformation journey with me and my son reads nutrition labels looking for “carbs” to help mommy and daddy! I truly feel like this has changed my life. It’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle: my lifestyle, for the rest of my life.
I consider myself a warrior for this charge. I shout the praises for this program from the rooftops and share with anyone who will listen, and they join me because I am a walking advertisement. People stop me all the time to tell me, “You look great! What are you doing?” I’m happy, full of energy, my skin is great and my weight is healthy for the first time in the longest time. My transformation speaks for itself and has impacted my life on so much more than a physical level.
Anyone can do this. The key is to stay with it! Even if you fall off, just come right back to it. I am on my feet 15 hrs a day. I CrossFit 4 days a week and have one distance run a week. This program allows me to accomplish all of that and do my job to the best of my ability. I know that there’s no other nutrition program in the world that could have supported me in this way. I haven’t had to make any sacrifices like give up sugar and I haven’t had to implement any crazy rules like eating 6 meals a day or stop eating after 6pm. Own Your Eating fits your lifestyle, not the other way round.
I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to forgive yourself for the missteps you’ll make along the way. Trust me I have had many! Just get right back to it the next day and you’ll be successful. What I’ve learnt from the Own Your Eating Lifestyle is that it doesn’t require perfection for you to achieve your goals. It requires you to be open to change and allow the process to happen – and maybe enjoy a doughnut or two! ?
