Transformation – Justin Eggspuehler
Huge props to Justin on his amazing transformation to date! We know he’s only going to continue to make improvements to his body composition and his performance in the gym. We’d love to take credit for the results but we all know that’s not how this works! Yes we’re here to support you and keep you accountable, but Justin wouldn’t be where he is today if he wasn’t being consistent and honest. Find out more about Justin’s experience with flexible eating and Own Your Eating.
When did you start Flexible Eating & how did your Transformation get started?
I started Flexible Eating Transformation on January 1, 2018, with a One Month Coaching Package this was prior to Jason and Roz offering memberships. I found OYE while searching for a macro coach and program that worked with MyFitnessPal. I’m so happy I found them!
What prompted you to get started?
I was attempting to adjust my nutrition on my own and had too many unanswered questions with conflicting answers that I found online. My preference was to utilize MyFitnessPal in order to keep myself accountable but wanted the knowledge and “extra accountability push” that I knew weekly calls with Jason would provide!
How much weight have you lost?
11.6 pounds so far and over 4% body fat!
What other changes have you noticed in your body or in general?
So many changes to my body composition but overall I feel amazing! Tons of energy and my workout numbers continue to improve! I have lost over 2 inches from my waist and put on about a pound of muscle mass! In regards to workouts, I have new PR’s…Barbara, Bench Press, Strict Press, Jerk and Front Squat.
What has been your biggest obstacle that you have overcome or are working on?
Recording literally everything that I put in my mouth was initially the hardest part for me. I knew this was going to be critical to my success….now it has become so easy that it’s almost automatic for me!
What’s the one thing you previously would have deprived yourself of on a diet that you now get to enjoy guilt-free?
Carbs. I tried paleo and keto diets with some success but it was too difficult and I knew that it wasn’t sustainable for me. I also cook all of the meals for my family so at times I was preparing multiple options so I could stay on track and everyone would be happy. Those days are over….now I eat what everyone else does!
What’s one piece of advice you would give someone that is just getting started?
Find a credible coach that you can communicate with directly on a weekly basis and track everything….be truthful but also have fun with it! If you follow the Own Your Eating program, the results will come! These guys are the best!
