Transformation Tuesday – Barbara Schreihans
I started flexible eating about 2 years ago after being on an unsustainable low-carb paleo diet. Although I had initially lost weight, it was not a diet I wanted to maintain. It made me look at food as good or bad, paleo or not,
and made me feel guilty when I didn’t ‘stick to the plan’. On top of that, I started competing in crossfit and I needed a more rounded diet to fuel my workouts.
When I started flexible eating, I noticed that I could go longer and harder in my workouts. I had more energy and I was getting way stronger. In total, I had lost 96 pounds. I am now 33 weeks pregnant and set a goal of gaining 25 pounds this pregnancy (the last pregnancy was pre-crossfit and I had gained 70 pounds.
