Transformation Tuesday – Cathy Lubinsky

I had tried every diet and exercise program from Zumba to kickboxing and Weight watchers to south beach diet. My husband had joined CrossFit a year prior to me and just watching his excitement and physical changes made me curious,
but I was scared that I could never do what he was doing. He convinced me to come to a bring a friend day. Just being in that atmosphere I was immediately hooked and I joined CrossFit!
I was amazed at how quickly my body changed and all of a sudden it was fun to go shopping for new cloths. I was also shocked to discover I was strong. My greatest PR was a 235# deadlift. That was an awesome day.
My biggest obstacle was getting my diet under control. Then my box owner introduced me to Flexible eating. My husband and I decided to give it a try together. We both have had great success. Food is still a daily struggle but the program has made a huge difference for me.
My advise for someone looking to get started is to be patient and believe in the process. The first thing you have to do is forget everything you ever knew about dieting!
