When did you start Flexible Eating?

What prompted you to get started?
I needed a change! I leaned that after gaining 10 lbs after my first year of crossfit (not muscle)
that is is possible to overeat no matter how hard you train. I was tired of feeling horrible about myself and had many failed attempts at fad diets.
What changes have you noticed in your body?
Over 39 total inches lost in 1 year. I hit a PR at the box every week! I began sleeping so much better and never felt horrible after a meal- no matter what it was!
What has been your biggest obstacle that you have overcome or are working on?
I am learning every day that is is ok to not always be perfect. Consistency is important, but you can’t forget to live. The beauty of flexible eating is that you don’t ALWAYS have to be exact down to the gram or ounce. And the number on the scale is truly just that- a number. It’s about how you feel!
What’s one piece of advice you would give someone that is just getting started?
It’s completely normal to be confused and overwhememed in the beginning. Don’t panic, stick with it and work with it and you will embark on the best life style change you have ever made! If you don’t want to feel like you can only have 1200 calories a day to look your best, you’re wrong! Think of your macros as buckets, and start with hitting one bucket each week. You’ll get there!
