When did you start Flexible Eating?
Jan. 2017 I started a 90 day challenge at the gym & wanted to join in to show the members that I would experience what they where about to go through. Lead by example.
What prompted you to get started?
I battled with weight issues past 10 years. 275lbs my heaviest. Then dropped to 165 then went up again to 200lbs last year. I was tired of fads & I wanted something flexible & sustainable.
What changes have you noticed in your body?
I have lost a total of 35 lbs since January. All gymnastics movements feel so good. I can finally do muscle ups and I almost never want to wear clothes now lol.
What has been your biggest obstacle that you have overcome or are working on?
Being a social butterfly going out to eat was the toughest but I have managed to bring my scale now or find macro friendly menus. It took time to understand that a donut & broccoli may look different but energy wise & macro wise break down the same.
What’s one piece of advice you would give someone that is just getting started?
You have to track! Track! Track! Consistency is the key to this lifestyle. It’s ok to live & have an off day as long as your consistent. It’s the key to change.
