Candice got started with Own Your Eating back in May 2018. Like a lot of us, the only time in her life she was able to maintain a healthy weight was when she was practically starving herself. Well this time Candice’s weight loss is completely different! Candice is satisfied with the amount of food she’s eating and she’s not having to deprive herself of the food she enjoys! We love to see people reaching their weight loss goals but we are always so thrilled when we help people change their relationship and mindset in respect to food. When did you start Flexible Eating & how did you get started?
I bought the basic lifestyle membership and the beginner macro video.
What prompted you to get started?
Jason’s abs! And all the pictures of Roz eating donuts. 🙂 I wanted to make a change but was sick of dieting so I decided to take the plunge and trust them with their methods.
How much weight have you lost?
23 lbs. and counting!
What other changes have you noticed in your body or in general?
My whole body feels smaller. I can breathe easier. My bodyfat has gone down by 5%. Most importantly I know how to eat and show my daughter how to eat and be healthy without deprivation or starvation.
What has been your biggest obstacle that you have overcome or are working on?
My biggest obstacle would be night eating! And huge bags of snacks are my downfall but now I’m better at measuring out a portion size instead of eating the whole bag. Those pretzels can add up fast without being filling.
What’s the one thing you previously would have deprived yourself of on a diet that you now get to enjoy guilt-free?
Cake!
What’s one piece of advice you would give someone that is just getting started?
Do it now! The only thing you will regret is not doing it sooner!
