How to Lose Body Fat & Gain Muscle – Transformation

If you’re like most people out there, then you want to know THE secret to the burning question, “How do I lose body fat and gain muscle at the same time?!” Well, newsflash!!! You don’t need to eat twice your weight in protein or commit to the “Navy SEAL-esque” bootcamp training program at your local gym. We know these two goals are seemingly contradictory: with fat loss you’re trying to decrease your body’s mass, while with gaining muscle you’re trying to do the opposite. But contrary to popular belief, it is possible to lose fat and put on muscle at the same time.
Here’s the kicker, not only is it possible, but body recomposition can be done without having to give up foods you love! You don’t even have to stick to a strict schedule of 6 meals a days or restrain from eating carbs after 6pm. Can this really be true?! Read on to find out how our client Adam lost 8% body fat following our flexible eating program.
Adam is a coach and owner of Crossfit Junkies in St Cloud Orlando. In the prime of his life and spending the majority of his time inside a gym, he was disappointed and frustrated that his body wasn’t an accurate reflection of his level of fitness. After hosting an Own Your Eating nutrition seminar for his members, Adam decided that doing what he was doing on his own simply wasn’t working. He needed a coach to help him lose some excess body fat and improve his muscle mass. Here’s Adam’s story on how he’s been successful in reaching his goals and finally getting the body composition that makes him feel like he’s leading by example within his community.
Body Recomposition Success Story
When did you start Flexible Eating & how did you get started?
I started Flexible Eating on July 16, 2018 with the Lifestyle Premium Package.
What prompted you to get started?
I started the program after Jason delivered a nutrition seminar at CrossFit Junkies. I was tired of not seeing the results I was looking for. “If nothing changes, nothing will change,” was a huge takeaway for me from that seminar and it plays in my head daily.
How much body fat have you lost and muscle have you gained?
I have lost a total of 13 pounds and I’ve gained 5 pounds of lean muscle mass. I’ve lost 8% body fat, going from 16.2% 8% body fat during the 220 days I’ve been with Own Your Eating!
What other changes have you noticed in your body or in general?
I have noticed tons of energy throughout my day and during training. I have PR’d all of my lifts when I had been plateaued at for so long. All my bio markers have improved too. Jason recommended I use Inside Tracker and those test results have really changed my perspective and helped me make more informed choices about what to eat.
What has been your biggest obstacle that you have overcome or are working on?
The biggest obstacle would have to be including fruits & veggies into my “daily” diet. I used to neglect them a lot but I truly feel the benefits of getting in all these important micronutrients.
What’s the one thing you previously would have deprived yourself of on a diet that you now get to enjoy guilt-free?
Before Flexible Eating I would deprive myself of cereal, cookies, candy, beer, treats etc.. Now I understand and know how to eat anything I want, just not everything I want. This has changed my life!
What’s one piece of advice you would give someone that is just getting started?

Whether you own a gym, work in a gym or go to a gym a few days a week, you don’t have to be continue to be frustrated. by your lack of results from the effort you’re putting in.
