Nick Pratt – 21 Day Nutrition Jump Start

Nick is a newer member of North Naples CrossFit but he’s certainly not unfamiliar with the fitness scene. As a young police officer, staying on top of his health and fitness comes with the job! That being said, he knew he needed to move his focus to his nutrition. Nick had seen the success his buddy Vince had with tracking macros and so he decided to give it a shot with the help of Own Your Eating and our 21-day nutrition jump start. When did you start Flexible Eating & how did you get started

I got started with the 21-day Nutrition Jump Start on January 7th 2018.

 

What prompted you to get started?

North Naples CrossFit made me motivated to change and be a better person!

 

Did you lose any weight or notice any other changes?

I didn’t lose much weight but lost almost 1 % body fat! My clothes fit better, I feel healthier, lifts are stronger and endurance is better, feel like I have better moods and better digestion. All around better lifestyle!

 

What has been your biggest obstacle that you have overcome or are working on?
I have overcome my terrible willpower to control my portions and over eat unhealthy items.

 

What’s the one thing you previously would have deprived yourself of on a diet that you now get to enjoy guilt-free? 

One thing? Pop tarts, ice cream, chocolate and peanut butter!

 

What’s one piece of advice you would give someone that is just getting started?
Follow the plan Jason and Roz made and the coaches help you follow. They all know what they are doing and make your meal plan/macro counting easy. Once you get started stick to it and pay the man! Shout out to my coach Keirstein for being such a huge help during the 21-days!
